Minutes of the Extraordinary Council Meeting from 16th November 2022 held at St Peter’s Hall, at 8pm
Present: Cllr Attrill, Cllr H Upton, Cllr J Aniskowicz, Cllr Duckworth, Cllr Lambert, Cllr Wilson, and Cllr S Morgan
Also Present: Assistant Clerk (Kara Atkinson) and 2 members of the public.
EM22-001: Apologies, Acceptance of apologies and declarations of interests
Cllr Hennessey, Cllr Spencer and Parish Clerk
EM22-002: Participation (15 mins) – to accept questions and comments from members of the public and councillors with a prejudicial interest. (max 3 mins per person)
There was public participation.
EM22-003: Business Matters
- Consider the proposal for cricket nets and their benefit to Wilburton
Cllr Wilson outlined the aspirations and plans for Wilburton Cricket Club. Documents shared with Cllrs prior to the meeting were reviewed. Cllrs discussed funding options and benefits to the community.
It was resolved that 50% of the proposed cost of the nets be funded by the Parish Council, at a cost of £12,500. Proposed by Cllr Duckworth and seconded by Cllr Attrill. Four additional Cllrs agreed.

Local Highways – reducing speed limit from 30mph to 20mph
