We are very pleased to announce the return of Fireworks Night to Wilburton. As many will know we have not had a display since 2019 and subsequently the long pause created by COVID has meant the Wilburton 77 Committee have unfortunately dwindled in numbers.

Wilburton Parish Council would like to commend and thank them for all their hard work, all the joy they brought, and all the money raised for local good causes!

With a tradition of thrilling displays for over 30 years to live up to, we are happy to partner with the excellent Cambridge Fireworks who will fully choreograph this year’s display to music with some popular favourites!

We have the usual funfair, with a selection of food stalls and bar on site so there is plenty to do if you arrive early to beat the rush!

Gates open at 5pm with the fireworks themselves at 7pm.

We have discounted advance tickets, with full price tickets on the day. You can pay by cash at the Wilburton Social Club or by card online via link on the Wilburton Parish Council fireworks page or QR code on our adverts.

We will of course still take cash and card payments at the gate on entry for those without an advance ticket.

On the night keeping you all safe will be SA Events looking after the security of the site and your wellbeing along with a dedicated first aid team, please note no dogs are permitted onsite.

In the interests of road safety, we advise people to car share where possible or to travel in by taxi as the road can get congested into the village on a Fireworks night and please do not block any local access.

Left Side               – Advance Tickets / SumUp Codes

Right Side            – On The Night Entry (Both Cash & Card Payments Accepted On The Night)

 

We Will Have A Manned Taxi Rank At The Main Gate, Please Use Taxis / Walk Or Share Vehicles Where Possible To Save Village Congestion

Safe Disabled Viewing Area / Along With A Disabled Toilet, Please Ask Security Staff For More Details

The Site Will be Lit, But Please Be Careful When Walking Around. If Possible Bring A Torch

Please Use the Bins Provided To Keep The Site Tidy

Security Will be Patrolling The Site If You Require Assistance Or Get Lost – The Lost & Found Point Is The Main Gate / First Aid

First Aid Is Also Located At The Main Gate

Toilets Are Located In The Middle Of The Site Next To The Cricket Square

    • Hi vis clothing with text on eg security, event staff etc
