St Peter’s Church

St Peters and village signSt Peter’s Church is a beautiful grade 1 building, with a long history, located at the western end of Wilburton and is home to a friendly congregation of all ages.

St Peter’s is part of the Grunty Fen group which unites four parish churches: Holy Trinity, Haddenham; St Andrews, Witchford; and St Peter’s, Wentworth. Reverend Fiona Brampton provides services in all four churches, the details of which can be found on the Holy Trinity Haddenham Website

At St Peter’s and all the churches within the group, a variety of service times are offered to ensure maximum accessibility to all members of the community who would like to be part of the congregation. A booklet containing these times is available at the back of the church in addition to the information provided on this website. In general, the services alternate between 9.15am and 11.00am each week with an additional 8.00am Holy Communion provided once a month.

Children and families are welcomed to all services held at St Peter’s and the church delights in its strong links with Wilburton Church of England Primary School. The ‘All Age’ services, held twice per month at 11.00am are particularly accessible to children. In addition, a Family Club has been formed by the families of St Peter’s and is usually held on the third Sunday of each month at 11.00am.

For the calendar of services and events at St Peter’s please refer to What’s On page.

In addition to the services held at the church there are a number of events (including the famous Strawberry Teas) and group meetings that can be found on St Peter’s Groups and Events page
