Welcome to the Wilburton Parish Council pages. This site is put together to help people find out all the information about Wilburton to make it easy to get involved. The Parish Council pages on the site are as follows

 

 

The Council is made up of an employed Clerk of the Council and 9 Volunteer Councillors.

The Council is here to act in the best interests of the Village, look after the assets of the village and help groups etc. thrive.

The Parish Council has responsibility for looking after many areas of the village of Wilburton including:

  • Street lighting
  • Recreation ground
  • Salting paths
  • Village Hall
  • Up keep of the cemetery
  • Clock winding
  • Reviewing planning applications
  • Grass cutting

The following land is owned and managed by the Parish Council.

The following village items are rented/leased, managed by the Parish Council and used by all

  • Recreation Ground with Pavillion, Cricket field and football field.

The council holds a monthly meeting (apart from August) to ensure that all the above areas operate to the benefit of the village and the people that live here.
